Introduction to the Theory of Safety

Abstract
The monograph presents traditional approaches to safety problems, based on the methods of observation and experiment used in biology and medicine, which do not allow an objective quantitative assessment of the processes under study. It then sets out solutions to these problems by methods based on the analysis of the properties of living organisms as non-equilibrium thermodynamic systems. This made it possible to determine the nature and regularities of the processes studied, to give them an objective quantitative assessment, and to identify effective ways of improving safety. The monograph will be useful to specialists, engineering and technical staff, and managers of enterprises in the construction, road and transport sectors.

В монографии приводятся материалы традиционных решений проблем безопасности, основанных на используемых в биологии и медицине методов наблюдения и эксперимента, не обеспечивающих возможность объективной количественной оценки исследуемых процессов, и решения этих проблем методами, основанными на анализе свойств живых организмов как неравновесных термодинамических систем, что позволило определить природу и закономерности исследуемых процессов, дать им объективную количественную оценку и определить эффективные пути повышения безопасности. Монография будет полезна для специалистов, инженерно-технических работников и менеджеров предприятий строительного, автомобильно-дорожного и транспортного комплекса.
